Lodochkin wrote:New launcher is terrible. With n - times typing your long pass.
Stage to play eve online now(on singularity server)
1. I need start launcher. 2. Input login, pass. Okay. then 3. Waiting while client running. 4. Input login, pass second time. 5. Select Char 6. Play.
Not really fast. And also, I can't launch another client.
If I want to loggin mine alt - I need logout from my account in laucher, then input login and pass again.
So button "PLAY" doesn't works.
Why are you inputting your login twice? What Launcher version are you running? Product Owner, EVE Launcher | Team Special Circumstances |

Lodochkin wrote:Eve launcher v1.32
Ah, there's the problem then. Version 1.32 is the current EVE Launcher. The new one we're testing requires you to install it (please read the first post in this thread, detailing this). As such, you're logging into the new landing page, and expecting the old EVE Launcher to magically know what to do with the credentials. This doesn't work, which is why you're having to do it twice. Mavis Tikalie wrote:I've been using it for a day or so and from what I can tell the One Log in thing doesn't work. Besides that the UI is kinda bugged. The ratio for the bottom and top bar are different then the middles which contains the news and One Log in thing (What the hell do I call this thing.) This makes the top and bottom bars extend farther then the middle section and nearly cuts off the Eve Retribution logo. You can't even see the "Online" words under the Eve.

If the Launcher you're running says 1.32 in the title bar, you're not using the new EVE Launcher, and explains why a) it's not looking correct and b) why the single sign on process isn't letting you play. Please read the first post in this thread for further instructions Product Owner, EVE Launcher | Team Special Circumstances |

Mangala Solaris wrote:Do like the launcher, however signing in twice - once via the launcher and then again at the client is not optimal. As you asked for: Windows 7 C:\Program Files (x86)\CCP\SISITest\ I upgraded my launcher/sisi install after the changes earlier in the week and tbh I couldnt tell you which version I was running. (I last used SISI in Mid April) Debug log is empty. This is the launcher.2013.05.12.logAnd the other one needed in Appdata didnt generate as far as I can see. The reason you had to enter your credentials twice is that you weren't actually using the new Launcher. If you re-read the first post, it contains a link to an installer to install the new version. The version you were using was the currently live version, v.1.32, but showing the new landing page; this is why the landing page extends beyond the boundaries of the rest of the Launcher window. For those in the Linux community, you might find some helpful information here. The Hawken beta launcher appears to have a similar problem as the EVE Launcher (when run under Wine). Product Owner, EVE Launcher | Team Special Circumstances |

Ruze wrote:FNPL Licensing service or some such.
When I run one instance of the launcher and close it down, I cannot start up a new instance until I manually close each 'launcher.exe' file and that service.
After manually closing them down, the launcher will start. I've no idea what the FNPL Licensing service you're referring to is. It's nothing to do with the EVE Launcher. Also, It would be good if you could provide us with the logs from the Launcher; the key to why one of the processes is hanging might be found in them, allowing us to work on a fix. Started the Singularity Launcher, let it update. Tried to log in but the play button stays greyed out, waited for a few minutes only to see it shutting down not to re-appear. Looked in the the task manager and found the (now familiar) two 'ghost' launcher.exe processes still in memory. Apparently the XP fix didn't work wich is also an explanation why the launcher never restarts properly: when launcher.exe is in memory a new launcher can be started but will not show or do anything. After killing the launcher.exe processes and rebooting I tried it again, this time without logging in. But to the same effect: after a few minutes the launcher disappears, leaving the two 'ghost' launcher.exe processes in memory. Win XP Pro SP3 The last lines of launcher.2013.05.28 text file found in cache - root - selfupdate - INFO - Installing version 2.1.543461 - root - selfupdate - INFO - Uninstalling version 2.1.537789-beta.3 - root - controller - INFO - Restarting launcher, runnning D:\Games\EVESIS~1\launcher\appdata\EVE_Online_Launcher-2.1.537789-beta.3.win32\..\..\launcher.exe - root - controller - INFO - Executable type: 2013-05-28 14:09:37,796 - root - controllerfunctions - INFO - Exiting launcher - root - controllerfunctions - INFO - disable - root - controllerfunctions - INFO - done exiting - ch_status - log - CH_LOG - Launcher run successful - root - controller - INFO - running cleanup: False - root - log - INFO - Shutting down launcher I left the date and time stamps out as the forum doesn't except them...:( Ok, this shows it shutting down to install the version with the fix. To elaborate 2.1.543461 contains the XP shutdown fix, so any builds prior to that will obviously not terminate correctly.
After the log you posted above, when you started it, what happens? Does it terminate correctly? What version is reported in the titlebar? Product Owner, EVE Launcher | Team Special Circumstances |

Check the shortcuts you used to start the application. When you copy shortcuts in Windows they keep the original directories, so if you copy EVE you can often find the shortcuts actually point back to the original directories. Product Owner, EVE Launcher | Team Special Circumstances |
